Alex was a delight to work with, I had met her before when she worked as event coordinator at Dewsall Court and in her work for The Great British Florist. So I was thrilled that she choose me to do her makeup for her wedding in the Black Mountains. It was Autumn, November, and the palette was moody and romantic. The photographer has a beautiful dark edit to his work, so the makeup needed to be strong to suit the mood and the photography.
Alex was kind enough to send me a note - ‘Thank you so much again - having you on the morning was so lovely - it really felt like I had another friend around me.’
These images are by Eric Rene Penoy - I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
I’m in love with these incredible glitter nails.
The ceremony was in one of my favourite churches ever - Capel-y-ffin - It’s the tiniest church set in the midst of the nature - with the Black Mountains to the West and Gospel Path the other side. It must have been impossibly romantic.
Here is Alex stood outside, before she went in to get married. You can see how amazing her deep mermaid coloured hair and Lime Crime lipstick looked against her flowers.
